Bum in the sand. I wish! With all this nasty, wet weather the beach is the place I would love to be. Unfortunately for me, I'm a big girl now with a semi-big girl job that requires my attendance 5 days a week. BUT fortunately for me, I graduate (fingers crossed) in May and my sweet husband is taking me on a trip to celebrate the week before graduation. Isn't he the wonderful? As y'all have read, cold weather type places are not the destination for me. Only sunshiney, sandy, sipping on a cold drink destinations. And that's exactly where we are headed in early May! Where you ask? KEY WEST!
Can't you just taste the mojito and hear Jimmy Buffett playing? Bliss. Needless to say, I am super excited about our little vacation. Neither one of us have ever been so it will be fun to experience this great little place together. We are flying into Miami so we can rent a car and venture across the historic 7 mile bridge down Hwy. 1. We plan on spending most of our time there relaxing but we would love to hear ideas of things to do or places to eat from any experienced islanders :)
