We Made It!!

Yes, we survived the awful tornadoes that tore through Alabama yesterday.  

Yes, that is the tornado destroyed Tuscaloosa and then made it's way to Birmingham.  That video is being shot as the tornadoes blows through north downtown Birmingham.  Thankfully, we live south of Birmingham and while all this was happening we were taking refuge at Patrick & Megan's house since they had power and they also have a basement.  Layla went too.  We spent the evening watching storm coverage and then on Facebook seeing pictures and watching video footage that had been taken.  It is just shocking the amount of lives lost and the damage that has been left.  While I have been complaining about our power outage since I woke up yesterday, I am extremely grateful that we are safe and there was no damage done to our property.  Please keep everyone affected by this storm in your prayers, especially in Tuscaloosa where the storm hit the hardest.
